Quick, someone make her go two pages back to make her feel better again!
But yeah, for someone always so surrounded by and showered with love, the thought of it potentially being gone one day could certainly be a scary one.
On the technical side of things, I hope the intended reading order worked out. It's always easy to write it in script, but composition is certainly something I still struggle with at times. If you're one of the few to check out my timelapses you can see me moving things around quite a lot, and I even already added placeholders for the balloons in the early sketch phase, which I (foolishly?) rarely do. ^^;
Well, we'll have a few more collages like this coming up, but fortunately sharing less real estate with regular panels, so here's hoping those will be a little easier.
What doesn't show, but I also contemplated quite a bit was how to "highlight" Aki's words, ie. whether to go the opposite route and have it get smaller, as if she'd barely whisper it, or whether to use a whole different, perhaps shakier font. But I think the emphasis works quite well, too.
